Thesis is devoted to the development of theoretical foundations, methodological provisions and practical recommendations concerning socioeconomic activity of households under conditions of new economy formation. In order to clarify the definition of concept’s essence "household" it is analyzed the conceptual-categorical apparatus which allows to systematize the definition proposed by researchers and to provide a generalized interpretation of the concept "household". As a result of analysis, it determines and generalizes the main functions of households which enable expansion of Ukrainian households under conditions of new economy formation, namely: synthesized (organization and production, savings and investment) and additional (mandatory payments and household), which became the basis for monitoring the socioeconomic activity of households. Based on the results of thoroughly conducted analysis, there was formed the structural and logical model of influence of new economy on the activity of households which distinguishes the main conditions for formation of new economy: technological, informative and communicative, financial and globalized, the main risks of the influence of the new economy on the socioeconomic activity of households (economic, social and technological) and the possibility of introducing innovative types of households’ activity, one of which is social entrepreneurship. It is generalized the essence of the main components of the monitoring of households’ activity, it is determined the main objective of the monitoring research of socioeconomic households’ activity, subject, object, scope of research, main tasks and stages of its conduction. It is proved the importance and features of introduction and use of monitoring of households’ socioeconomic activity. It is carried out a general analysis of Ukrainian households' activities. It is analyzed the households’ budget using the balance method under conditions of new economy formation. Complex analysis of the formation of aggregate household incomes and expenditures with the use of multivariate factor analysis was carried out. It allowed to determine the main component of the household budget structure; the monitoring of socio-economic activity of households from 2009 to 2017 by regions was carried out with the use of cluster analysis by the k-medium method. According to the monitoring results, 4 groups of regions with different levels of social and economic activity of households were identified. The budget of households by the balance method in the conditions of formation of a new economy was analyzed. The obtained results are the basis for a more detailed formulation of the socio-economic policy of Ukraine, taking into account the regional specificities. On the basis of generalization of subjective and objective indicators of the level of households’ socioeconomic activity, there was developed a methodical approach for quantitative assessment of the level of households’ activity under conditions of new economy formation by means of using three system-forming groups of indicators: social, economic, innovative and educational activity, which provide a deeper and more comprehensive assessment of the households’ socioeconomic activity. Such group of indicators was formed on the basis of the expert assessment (collective notebook method), which fully reflects the degree of satisfaction with the material and spiritual needs of households. According to the results of the expert evaluation, there have been formed three system-forming groups of indicators of households’ socioeconomic activity which reflect the level of satisfaction with the material and spiritual needs of households. In the group of indicators of economic activity it is proposed to use two new indicators for households, namely: the index of profitability of households (characterizing how much the household uses its internal potential) and the household savings index (which helps to determine their capacity for savings and the level of liquidity of households). For visualization of the results by means of "Front-end development" (using the tools and programming languages: -html, -jquery, -raphaeljs, -css and -javascript) there was developed a monitoring map of Ukraine. The paper specifies the substantial content and role of social entrepreneurship under conditions of new economy formation and suggests scientific and practical recommendations for its use in households’ activity. The methodical approach to assessing the level of social and economic activity of households has been improved. This methodological approach is based on a clear separation of stages, the construction of a constant sample of households, the timing of its implementation, the development of a monitoring passport that improves the information and organizational support for monitoring the socio-economic activity of households in the context in the conditions of the formation of a new economy.
