Essay

The dissertation is the first comprehensive study of easel graphics in Lviv in the context of fine arts in Ukraine. The peculiarities of the development of society have led to the formation of a certain cultural environment in which the focus on the European market has also been reflected in artistic priorities. It was in Lviv, where graphic artists, oriented to western trends, creatively worked. The research has proved, that the artistic level of graphic artists’ work, artistic and stylistic peculiarities of their works testify to the transformation of Lviv art from the 1990s to the 2000s.
