Essay

The theoretical substantiation and experimental research of the problem of patriotic education of the secondary school students under the condition of military lyceum was carried out in the dissertation. The basic methodological approaches (systemic, person-oriented, cultural, and axiological) and principles of education of patriotism of lyceum students are determined; the state of development of the problem in philosophy, pedagogy, psychology and history was analyzed.Based on theoretical analysis, the essence of the concepts of “instilling patriotism of secondary school students under the conditions of military lyceum”, “patriotic education of a lyceum” was specified; the components (cognitive, emotional-value, behavioral-praxis), criteria (cognitive, motivational-value, performance-behavioral) and indicators were determined, the levels of patriotic education of students under the condition of military lyceum (high, medium, insufficient) were determined.The theoretical substantiation and experimental verification were carried out; the efficiency of the model and organizational and pedagogical conditions for the education of the secondary school students under the condition of military lyceum was proved.
