Essay

The thesis work presents the results of complex solution of the problems in upbringing of basic school students physical capacity in the course of extra-curricular activities in cycling. The situation in the developing of the problem in upbringing of basic school students physical capacity in the course of extra-curricular activities has been studied in psychological and pedagogical literature; special aspects in physical education of students at cycling classes were summed up. Basic notions of the study were specified, they were ,,physical capacity” – as moving abilities developed in the course of upbringing and purposeful training, those making it possible to fulfil certain moving activity; ,,upbringing of basic school students physical capacity” – as a pedagogical process of the developing of students natural moving abilities aimed to the achievement of the results in cycling and other kinds of moving practice; ,,extra-curricular activities” – as various academic and educational activities aimed to satisfy students claims and interests organized by teachers after school. There were defined five groups of physical capacity due to the basic school students such as strength, tolerance, quickness, smartness and flexibility. Contents and core of the basic school students physical capacities were shown as a pedagogical process during extra-school activity in cycling. The complex of pedagogical conditions in upbringing of students physical capacity has been grounded and implanted in the course of extra-school activity in cycling: 1) the foundation of the single educational space ,,School –Sports Club” aimed to unite educational potential of the students to organize after-school classes in cycling and upbringing basic school students physical capacities; 2) the level increase of a PE teacher /trainer skills in cycling as a continuous process of improvement and self-improvement in the professional integrity in the sphere of physical education and sport; 3) providing of psychological and pedagogical guiding of basic school students to create personal route in bringing up physical capacities in the course of after-school classes in cycling. The effectiveness of pedagogical conditions in upbringing physical capacities of basic school students in the course of after-school activities in cycling on the ground of developed criterion study base was checked by experiment.
