Object: the process of future social teachers’ training in higher education institutions; the goal: to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions of future social teachers’ training for the use of innovative technologies in professional activity; methods: analysis, comparison, generalization, systematization, classification, supervision, questionnaire, conversation, survey, testing, expert evaluation, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: it has been substantiated and experimentally confirmed the pedagogical conditions of future social teachers’ training for the use of innovative technologies in professional activity; it has been singled out the criteria, indicators and levels of formation of innovation and technological readiness of future social teachers; results: it has been developed the program and information-methodical materials for teachers of higher education institutions, social pedagogues-practitioners, representatives of the public on the use of innovative forms and methods of social-pedagogical work, program-methodical materials for disciplines „Innovative technologies of social-pedagogical activity”, „Communicative-informational technologies and innovative methodics in the work of social sphere specialists”, „Innovative models of granting of social and educational services”, the program and methodical recommendations for organization of future social teachers’ professional-pedagogical practice in the institution of general secondary education were developed; the branch is the social pedagogy
