Object: the correction process of youth ageism in conditions of the information society; purpose: scientifically justify, meaningfully develop and implement a socio-pedagogical correction system of ageism of student youth in the educational and cultural environment of higher education establishment in conditions of the information society; methods: analysis and systematization, generalization, modeling, forecasting, engeneering, pedagogical supervision, diagnostic interviews, questionnaire, testing, socio-pedagogical research, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: it was theoretically justified, developed, implemented the social and pedagogical correction system of ageism of student youth in the educational and cultural environment of the higher education establishment; it was introduced the term "ageism of student youth", "socio-pedagogical correction of ageism of student youth" into the scientific concept and it was determined their essential characteristics; results: it was developed regulations and information and methodological materials concerning the activities of the correctional and coordination center of the higher education establishment; it was developed socio-pedagogical program and methodological materials for the reduction of the level of ageism in students in the educational and cultural environment of the higher education establishment; branch - social pedagogy.
