Essay

In the dissertation the pharmacological study of the activity of apple pectin powder as a detoxifier for acute and subchronic alcohol intoxication was performed for the first time and an average effective dose was determined experimentally, the expediency of its application was substantiated. It was shown that the use of apple pectin in dose 0.2 g / 100 g of body weight in acute alcohol intoxication and the curative mode of administration (after alcohol introduction) contributed to the normalization of carbohydrate metabolism, maintaining the level of glucose in the blood at almost normal levels, reduced the activity of alcohol markers АlАТ, АsАТ and molecules of average mass, caused significant inhibition of lipid peroxidation and reduction of its final products in blood serum and restored catalase activity.Investigated, that apple pectin significantly reduced the bioavailability of alcohol by adsorption, that was proved by the gas-liquid chromatography method. The effect of apple pectin on subchronic alcoholic intoxication for 28 days has been studied. It was shown that in the treatment regimen, the introduction of the apple pectin significantly reduces the activity of alcohol biomarkers: AsAT - 42 % compared to the control, 18 % compared to the introduction of activated charcoal and 11 % against the use of silicon dioxide (р˂0,05). The activity of AlAT decreased by 21 % compared to control, 23 % compared to activated charcoal treated and was equivalent to that of the group where silicon dioxide was used. The study of the influence of apple pectin on the activity of the processes of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant defense enzyme catalase showed a significant decrease in the content of diene conjugate and malone dialdehyde in the blood serum of animals when apple pectin were used. The activity of catalase was close to normal in all groups using medications. Experimentally proved the efficiency of apple pectin in a dose of 0.2 g / 100 g of rat body weight. In the calculation of the standard formula, it is 22 g for a person for the therapeutic and prophylactic regimens of administration.
