Essay

The thesis is devoted to solve a scientific problem, which is in cars energy efficiency increasing while maneuver by reduction of unproductive energy consumption. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is the energy approach development to evaluate the maneuverability and technical condition of vehicles. On the basis of the analysis of well-known studies, it has been determined that maneuverability is one of the most important dynamic properties of cars, which includes not only maneuverability when turning, as well as overclocking, braking, moving "crab" and in other cases. The development of non-traditional methods of maneuver requires the study of their energy costs and the required engine power for their implementation. The proposed scientific and methodical approach allows us to carry out a qualitative estimation of the properties of maneuverability of vehicles and their technical state by energy indicator. The proposed coefficient of energy and engine power costs to overcome the external motion resistance and the kinetic energy of translational motion allows to determine the rational speed of a vehicle, when this coefficient has a minimum value.
