Essay

The dissertation studies the vital issue of nurturing proactivity in the senior preschool age children in a role-playing game. Based on the theoretical analysis of the issue researched, the content of the concepts «proactivity of preschool children», «nurturing proactivity in senior preschool children», and «nurturing proactivity in preschool children in a role-playing game» has been specified. The pedagogical potential of role-playing games for nurturing preschool children in preschool educational institutions has been clarified. Criteria (cognitive, emotional-value, socio-communicative, creative-active) has been developed with the corresponding indicators; levels of development of proactivity in children of senior preschool age in a role-playing game have been characterized. The effectiveness of the methodology and pedagogical conditions of nurturing proactivity in senior preschool children in the role-playing game has been theoretically justified and experimentally tested. The gradual change of methodical work aimed at nurturing proactivity in senior preschool children in a role-playing game has been presented.
