Essay

The dissertation investigates the problem of future social teachers’ preparation for gender socialization of boarding schools pupils. The essence of the phenomenon «future social teachers readiness for gender socialization of boarding school students». The concept of «gender socialization of boarding school students», «preparation of future social educators for gender socialization of boarding school pupils». The complex of criteria (cognitive-cognitive, emotional-value and activity-operational), indicators and levels (high, satisfactory, low) of future social teachers readiness for gender socialization of pupils of boarding schools have been defined in the dissertation. The effectiveness of socio-pedagogical conditions of preparation of future social pedagogues for gender socialization of pupils of boarding schools is theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested. An experimental method of preparing future social educators for gender socialization of pupils has been developed and tested, for which educational disciplines have been supplemented with content modules and topics on gender issues.
