Dissertation is devoted to problems of improvement of technical operation of water-transport port hydrotechnical structures by working out and researching innovated construction-technological solutions and methods of definition of loadings caused by soil lateral pressure on retaining walls of studied structures. New construction-technological solution of a gravity-piled facility improving its technical and economic parameters is developed for use in reconstruction, modernization and building of means of water transport. New approaches to definition of loadings upon hydrotechnical retaining structures caused by soil lateral pressure are studied and applied at designing and calculating of constructions of gravity-piled type. The new base concepts describing features of perception of soil pressure at rest by considered facilities are presented and proved. By mathematical modeling peculiarities of influence of kinematics of system «structure − soil media» on perception of loadings from lateral soil pressure are researched. Results of study applications at the analysis of the stressed-deformed state and an estimation of reserves (deficiencies) of bearing capacity of operated water-transport objects, have confirmed efficiency of use of the developed methods and solutions.
