The thesis is devoted to the issues of improving fuel efficiency and environmental performance of cars. A system for adding hydrogen-containing gas to the air charge of a gasoline engine using thermoelectric conversion of exhaust gases heat energy has been developed. An algorithm for mathematical modeling of fuel consumption and harmful emissions of the car in the driving cycle with different values of the hydrogen-containing gas addition has been developed. According to the research results, fuel consumption and emissions are forecasted for car.
