The object of the study is the process of regulating the labor market of the industrial region in conditions of labor volatility. The purpose of the dissertation is the development of theoretical and methodological foundations of labor market research and development of scientific and practical recommendations for regulating the labor market of the industrial region, taking into account the manifestations of labor volatility. Research methods: dialectical method, method of historical analysis, method of system analysis, method of statistical and comparative analysis, forecasting, etc. Theoretical results: are to deepen the theoretical and methodological foundations of labor market research and development of scientific and practical recommendations for regulating the labor market in conditions of labor volatility, taking into account the specifics of industrial regions. Practical results: are that the obtained scientific conclusions of theoretical and scientific-applied nature are the basis for the formation of organizational and economic principles of labor market regulation of the industrial region in conditions of labor volatility. Scientific novelty: for the first time: the concept of labor resource volatility was introduced into scientific circulation; improved: theoretical and methodological foundations of labor market research by proposing and confirming the hypothesis of the impact of labor volatility on the transformation of labor market regulation mechanisms; organizational and economic principles of labor market regulation; conceptual and functional support of labor market regulation; received further development: theoretical foundations of labor market research; theoretical and applied principles of labor market regulation in conditions of labor volatility. Degree of implementation: the results of the study are implemented in the practical activities of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center (Kramatorsk), Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Mariupol), the Council of the Association of Employers of Donetsk region (Mariupol), the Executive Committee of Mariupol City Council, Mariupol City Employment Center, Mariupolteplomerezha, Servicinvestbud LLC (Mariupol), as well as in the educational process of the Institute of Personnel Training of the State Employment Service (Kyiv), Priazovsky State Technical University of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Mariupol).
