Essay

The dissertation is concerned with the a solution of an actual scientific and applied problem on increase in efficiency of functioning of elements of the chassis of all-wheel drive vehicles taking into account blocking of their transmission. For the first time, the behavior in the torque energy in the locked transmission of the four-wheel-drive vehicle has been specified, which, unlike the existing ones, takes into account the change in use of its wheel radii. The parameters of the movement of the wheel under active rotational moment and impelling power have been evaluated, which is the case when there is a kinematic mismatch in a vehicle with blocked transmission. The parameters of the movement of the four-wheel-drive vehicle in the event of changes in tyre pressure and wheel load have been determined experimentally. The method, system and algorithms of operation of the air pressure control process in tyres of four-wheel-drive car have been developed, which is based on elimination of kinematic mismatch, which allows increasing functional stability of elements of the «transmission-wheel» system of the vehicle under various driving modes and operating conditions.
