Kolomoyets G. Patriotic education of senior teenagers in the process of military sports games.

The dissertation presents the scientific substantiation of theoretical and methodical bases of patriotic education of senior teenagers in the course of military sports games. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the essence of the concept of «patriotic education of older adolescents in the process of military sports games» is specified; the content of patriotic and military-patriotic education of children and students is revealed; military sports games are characterized, which have proved their effectiveness and expediency for their implementation in the practice of general secondary education, out-of-school education. Components are identified (cognitive, emotional-value, arbitrary impulse, behavioral); criteria («knowledge of patriotism»; «desire to show patriotism»; «willingness to show patriotism»; «ability to show patriotism in behavior») with appropriate indicators and characterized the levels of education of patriotism of older adolescents in military sports games (effective, fragmentary, conflicting, inert). In the dissertation research the method of education of patriotism by means of military sports games, which contains effective organizational and pedagogical conditions, forms and methods, is scientifically substantiated and checked.
