Essay

The object of the research is the phenomenon of art mediatization. The purpose of the study is to examine the forms, channels, and communication features of the phenomenon of art mediatization. To solve the tasks we used general scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, formalization, terminological analysis, comparison, modeling) and special methods of research in compliance with the methodological requirements due to the socio-communicative paradigm. The cultural-historical method made it possible to consider the phenomenon of contemporary art in the context of art history and communicativism and to identify the regularities inherent in the functioning of artistic practices in the late 20th-early 21st centuries. The method of comparative analysis made it possible to draw conclusions about the features of functioning of various national virtual museums of the world. The method of communication analysis made it possible to identify and characterize communication means, channels, codes, effects and receptive features of mediatized interaction in the field of art. The method of modeling allowed us to investigate modifications in cultural institutions caused by the introduction of mediagenic factors into their structure. Mediatization as a theoretical basis for the study provided a mediocentric approach to the transformations that occur in the fields of culture and art. The conceptual development of the problem of mediatization of art is one of the important directions of the theory and methodology of social communications. Theoretical statements and scientific results can be used in the training of specialists in the specialty 061 "Journalism", in particular in the development of lecture courses "Modern media discourse", "Typology of modern media structures", "Professional training". The results and conclusions obtained can be applied in conducting professional trainings for specialists in sociocultural institutions. The scientific novelty of the thesis is that for the first time: - conceptually substantiated and empirically confirmed the phenomenon of transformation of socio-cultural institutions on the mass media; - identified communication means, tools, approaches that provide the mediatization of art in the virtual museum environment; improved: - theoretical foundations of the study of the mediatization of culture and art; - theoretical concepts of contemporary art as media art; have been further developed: - theoretical provisions on mediatization as a metaprocess encompassing the globalized society; - conceptosphere of art mediatization extended by the concepts "media culture", "media logic", "media cratia", "media events"; - theoretical ideas about the phenomenon of "artainment," which characterizes the interaction of the media person with artworks.
