Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of fuel economy and ecological indicators of vehicles with engines converted for operation on gas fuel, which are equipped with a system of thermal preparation in the conditions of operation and methods of their realization. Calculated and experimental studies of the vehicle KIA CEE'D 2.0 5MT2 with G4GC engine (4FS 8.2 / 9.35), converted to run on gas fuel, which is equipped with a heat treatment system based on a heat accumulator phase transition, to determine ways and methods to improve fuel economy and environmental performance. An approach to determining fuel efficiency and environmental performance of vehicles with engines converted to run on gas fuel in the processes of pre-start and post-start heat preparation, based on the simultaneous use of experimental research data and calculation results on a mathematical model. The significant influence of the system of thermal preparation with the thermal accumulator of phase transition on indicators of fuel economy and ecological indicators of the vehicle in the conditions of operation in a wide range of ambient temperatures is established.
