Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical understanding of the phenomenon of information and educational space of modern society. The study demonstrates that the conceptualization of the idea of ‘information and educational space’ has been taking place in the direction from the awareness of space as an ontological category to the understanding of space as a social category, with its recognition as a part of the socio-cultural process. Consideration of information and educational space in the context of social statics and dynamics has led to the assertion that the analysis of information and educational space as a static phenomenon is unpromising due to rapid changes in its content and form of organization. The analysis of space as a dynamic phenomenon, on the contrary, justifies itself, is promising. This allowed us to consider the dynamics of the development of information and educational space as a "living organism" under the powerful influence of socio-cultural transformations.
