Palyukh Z. The methods of encouragement and punishment in the process of teaching and education of school providing general education of Ukraine (20's years of XX c).

The object of research: a process of education and upbringing in a secondary school of Ukraine (20's years of XX c). The purpose: to synthesize numerical scientific and empirical dates of the problem, to investigate the basic points on the methods of ancouragement and pinishment in 20's years and to correlate it with a modern development of pedagogical science and school practice. Methods: theoretical analysis of literature, synthesis, problematical analysis, historical and comparative analysis. Results and the novelty: investigation of different theoretical approaches to the methods of encouragement and punishment and the ways of its practical incarmation in 20-s years of XX c.; relation of the positive and negative aspects of these methods application; anrichment of scientific turn by means of numerous number of new resources on the history of researching problem. Subject, degree and efficiency of introduction: the content and the conclusions of this research can be used for writing special and gene ral works on history of pedagogic in Ukraine, the working out of lecture courses, lessons, seminar and practical studies. The field of use: higher institutions of education, a system of promotion,qualification education.
