Suprunenko N. The formation of the demand for labour forse in plant-growing

Object of the investigation: workers employed in collective and state agricultural enterprises in plant-growing of Zhytomyr region. Purpose of the investigation: elaboration of the ways to ensure and perfect the formation of demand for labour force in plant-growing under the condition of market relations establishment and the branch refor mation. Methods: statistical and economical, mathematical, balance, method of expert estimation, abstract-logieal, monographic, graphic personal particulars. Theoretical and practical results: it has defiened the theoretikal provisions more accuratelu couserning the demand for labour forse in in plant-growing the main factors of its formanion have been delerminef, the main methodical approaches have deen designed; the forecast of the demand for labour forse in plant-growing was done till 2010; toking into account social and economis situation; and has based the main points formation improvement. Novelty of the inculcated: it has designe d the structual of demand for labour in plant-growing the first time and methodical appoaches to its volume determination. Extent of application: proposals concerning improvement of conditions of work and living were taken into account by specialists from Ministry of agroindustrial complex of Ukraine while working out plans of social infrastructure development of the country for 1999-2000; measures for ensuring effective usage of workers in plant-growing, incrlasing motivation and prestige of their work were used by Directorate of ag- roinstrial complex of Zhytomyr regional state admistration during making up plans of training and retra- ining personnel for plant-growing; recomendations for ensuring rational employment and the forecast of the agricultural enterprises demand for plant-growing workers were used by Korosten' town and district centre of employment while maring the Program of rural population employment for Korosten' district in 1999; proposals concerning improvement of labour resources' usage were taken into account by the admi- nistration of collective agricultural enterprise "New-Way" in Jemil'chin district of Zhytomyr region when elaborating the pragram of agricultural industry development; materials of the sociological investigation of plant-growing workers were used in the research reporrt of the Department of Social Development of the Instityte of Agrarian Economics UAAS. Effektiveness: will help to solve the problems of formation, functioning and perfection of the labour market regulation mechanism for plant-growing workers, determination of the priorities for garanteeing their productive employment and social protection.
