Volkov S. The causes and mechanisms of fertility rate decreasing in cows and their correction

The object of investigation: the cow of black and white bread of 3-5 years old with productivity of 3000-3500 kg per year. The methods of investigation: clinical, laboratory, statistical. Theoretical and practical results: there were studied causes and mechanisms of existing stage and morpho-functional condition of genitalia. There were substantiated the correction methods of fertility in cows at different signs of doubtful prognosis. There were established endocrinal changes that is characterized by transformation of yellow body during the sexual circle into yellow body in the pregnancy. The first and second waves of follicular growing in pregnant and infertile cows were studied. The measure of introduction: the dissertation materials are used at teaching the subject "Obstetrics, gynecology and biotechnology of food animals" on veterinary medicine department and for continuing educating students in Bila Tserkva State Agrarian University. The dissertation materials are also used in "Methodical recomme ndation on dairy cattle reproduction" (1995) and in recommendation "Artificial insemination of cows and heifers" (1999).
