Kashuba O. Cubistic futurism in Ukraine: A. Bogomazov: Theory and Practices. (Creation of New Stylistic Forms in Art)

The thesis deals with issues of evolving and formation of cubistic futurism in Ukraine. This is the first time that such a trend in Ukrainian art as cubistic avantgardism is reviewed, and the basis for the review are pieces of art by A. Bogomazov analyzed by the author of the thesis. In the paper in concern, a comprehensive approach to scientifical studies of cubistic futurism is being developed; the approach is based on historic, theoretical and practical materials. Stylistic characteristics of artistic lanquage by A. Bogomazov are reviewed in the context of his theoretical views.It is being determined by the author that cubistic futurism in Ukraine, while developing within the mainstream of European and Russian avant-gardism, had some unique features due to Ukrainian national artistic tradition. A new technique of studying the artisitc heritage heritage by A.Bogomazov is being proposed.
