Essay

The theoretical bases of educational book for junior schoolchildren and process of making textbooks in the sphere of primary education of Ukraine scince 1960 till 2000 are explored in the thesis.The stages of this process are scientifically described; the main tendencies of textbooks' developing are distinguished in the period of the establishment of State Standard of State Junior education; the peculiarities of textbooks' developing in the foreign schooling are determined.The model of textbook is developed for a school of the first degree, which includes didactic (functional providing of a book, motivated structuring of educational material, design of basic components of teaching process in a textbook) and psychological (development of maintenance of educational material according to the basic stages of teaching process, providing of active aspects of teaching, consideration of age-old features of junior schoolchildren) characteristics.
