Goraschuk V. Theoretical and methodological principles of pupils’ health culture forming

The research object is the forming process of health culture of pupils. The research purpose consists of the methodological and theoretical basing of the forming system of health culture of pupils. The folloving research methods were used: theoretical implied studing of specific literature; empiric ones are pedagogical supervision, questionnaire, interviews, studies and generalizations of pedagogical experience. Theoretical value – a new pedagogical direction have been worked out. It is the forming of health culture of pupils. Practical value: autors program for higher and secondary education have been developed and inculcated. A monograph, a textbook and a training aid was prepared and published. The scientific novelty of the work is inculcation of notion of „health culture of pupils”, determination of its essence and structure, the theoretical grounding of the system of knowledges of pupil in the sphere of health and physical culture. The concepts “health”, “valeolgy”, “health way of life”, have been developed. The reseach results were inculcated in the educational system of Ukraine.
