Object of investigation – dysplasia on joints and fractures near the growth plates in immature dogs. The goal of the investigation – is improvement of diagnostic and treatment of dysplasia on joints of extremities in dogs, investigation of their etiology and pathogenesis in different joints. The investigation method – clinical and X-rays, morphological, histological and histochemical, with experimental purpose the regeneration of articular cartilage in dogs was studied. The scientific novelty: an analysis of developmental disorders on joints of forelimb and hindlimb: in shoulder joint – medial congenital dislocation of the humeral head, avulsion of the scapular tuberosity, osteochondritis dissecans; in elbow – congenital dislocations (lateral rotation of the ulna and caudolateral luxation of the radial head), subluxation of the elbow secondary to growth disturbances of the radius and ulna, ununited medial coronoid and anconeal processes, ununited medial epicondyle, osteochondritis dissecans; in carpus– dislocation and subluxation of the radiocarpal joint; in hip joint – hip dysplasia, avascular necrosis of the femoral head; in stifle joint – congenital luxations of the patella, genu valgum, cranial deformation of the proximal tibia, avulsion of the tibial tuberosity, osteochondritis dissecans; in hock joint – valgus deformity and osteochondritis dissecans. The dynamics of histological and histochemical peculiarities of growth plate in immature dogs and in case of degenerative disturbances was established. Suggested: the methodical on clinical inspection of extremities in dogs with diagnostic aim of dysplasia on joints; the surgical management of dysplasia on joints and trauma on growth plates caused by fractures.
