Essay

The object of investigation limb illnesses in cattle. The goal of investigation the substantiation of cause and development pecularities of aceptic pododermatitis in cows depending on the course of the disease and elaborating on this basis prophylactic measures and treatment methods. The investigation methods clinical, morphological, biochemical, hystological, immunological and biophysical. The scientific novelty – for the first time in the native veterinary surgery there were carried out complex clinical, hematological, histological, hystochemical, immunological, biochemical and biophysical investigations including keeping, conditions feeding and pecularities of illnesses. Trese helped to determine separate pecularities of ethyology and pathogenesis of acute and chronical aceptic pododermatitis which caused important losses in dairy cattle industry. There was proposed: prophylactic measures for aceptic pododermatitis in cows which make possible to improve the quality of hoof cornet and to prevent theillness. It was improved and substantiated the treatment of acute aceptic pododermatitis in cows that consist of using medical substances, which reduce inflammation process in the derma of the hoof skin. It was worked out the ways of treatment the cows with chronic aceptic pododermatitis by using anti-inflammatory and anti-sclerotic therapy which helps to shorten the period of treatment. It was inculcated: the results of investigation are principal composition of the methodical recommendations "Aceptic pododermatitis in cattle //Methodical recommendations in questions of ethyology, pathogenesis, diagnostic, prophylactics and methods of surgical treatment" /N.M.Khomyn/ – Lviv, 2005. – 21 p. which was confirmed by Veterinary Department of Ukraine and dedicated to veterinary experts and students. The results of investigations are used in a teaching and a scientific and proctical work in Lviv National Academy of Veterinary Medicine by the nave of S. Ghzitsky, National Agrarian University, Poltava State Agrarian Akademy. Using area: veterinary medicine.
