Object of research - the process of the labour motivation in the enterprises of heavy machine building, which is letting out complex highly technological production. The purpose of research - the substantiation of the complete scientific concept and elaboration of the scientific-methodical recommendations concerning introduction in production management of the large machine-building enterprise of the complex organizational and economic mechanism of the labour motivation as bases for innovative transformation of the enterprise. Methods of research: historical, statistical and technical and economic analysis, logic generalization and system approach. Theoretical and practical results: the theoretical and methodological bases of management of labour motivation are profound; the new complete scientific concept and system-target approach of formation of the complex organizational and economic mechanism of the labour motivation as bases for innovative transformation of the enterprise is developed. The basicrules are lead up to a level of the concrete methodical recommendations and practical decisions. There are introduced in system of production of management of Joint-Stock Company's "NKMZ", „Slavtyajmash", „Dongormash", Centre of productivity of the Ministry of labour and social policy of Ukraine; there are used in educational process of DNU and DDMA of Ministry of education and science of Ukraine. The scientific - methodical elaboration's are used IEP NАS of Ukraine by preparation of the offers and remarks to the project of the Labour Code of Ukraine, by preparation Donetsk regional council of trade unions of the offers on the conclusion of the branch and regional agreements. Scientific novelty: the essence of concept "the organizational and economic mechanism of the labour motivation" as complex-target system which consists of set of the interconnected compound components of administrative influence on motivational process is formulated. The organizational and economic mechanism of amplification of labour motivation, structure of its program-target blocks, scientific-methodical recommendations and practical decisions of a choice and realization of measures on any of them, scientific - methodical bases and practical approaches to creation of complex system of organization of payment of labour, of material and moral stimulation, of humanization of production and labour are elaborated. The practical measures are worked out to motivate the personnel for advancing their vocational competence, intellectual potential and business career. Sphere of use is the activity of research establishments in the field of management of the personnel and economy of labour; the machine-building enterprises, higher educational institutions.
