Lagutenko O. Ukrainian graphics in the 1st third of the 20th century: common tendencies and national peculiarities of the development.

The new conception of the Ukrainian graphics' history in the 1st third of the 20th century in the channel of common European artistic process is represented in this thesis, main stylistic movements are determined, national features of the graphic art in Ukraine are emphasized. Culturological reasons of the graphic art's flourishing are considered; influence of ideas of the national cultural renaissance and new characterization is analyzed. It is approved that Ukrainian Art Academy and educational art establishments of Kharkiv, Odesa and Lviv played the important role in the formation of the new national graphic school. Ukrainian graphics of the specified period are researched as artistic phenomenon that realized in different countries in various forms and genres in a wide range of new artistic styles and movements.
