A possibility of creation of the new biologically active substances (BAS) of the domestic class on the basis of diphosphonic acids germanium salts is experimentally substantiated in the thesis. Acute and chronic experiments have proved the safety of oxyethylidendiphosphonatogermanates derivatives (nicogerm, germamide, germacord). Main hepatic and cardiovasotropic effects and mechanisms of these compounds were studied in vivo and in vitro at different patterns of pathological conditions, as well as the peculiarities of their distribution and elimination from an animal organism have been established with the help of first elaborated methods of the pharmacokinetic parameters extra-camera analysis. The obtained results substantiate an expediency of practical usage of these BAS as safe and potentially high-effective membrane-protecting means during complex treatment of the heart and the liver. Germacord is recommended for clinical tests as a cardioprotector with high antihypertensive and antiarrhythmic activities, and nicogerm as a potential effective and safe hepatoprotector.
