Sejko N. Charity in the sphere of education of Ukraine (in XIX – the beginning of XX c.)

Object: charity in the sphere of education of Ukraine in XIX – the beginning of XX c. as social and pedagogical phenomenon; objective: complete systematic exposure of genesis, essence and experience of charity in the sphere of education of Ukraine as a complex social and pedagogical phenomenon; methods: analysis, synthesis, generalization, modelling, historical and genetic method, historical and comparative method, historical and typological method; novelty: a scientific problem is regarded systematically – the history of the development of charity on methodological, theoretical and applied levels; the evolution of charity work during a long historical period is studied; the tendencies of its development, contradictions and preconditions are defined; charity support in the sphere of education is considered as a guide to socialization; the division into periods in charity in the sphere of education in XIX – the beginning of XX c. is suggested and scientifically proved; the essence and the specific character of fundraising in the sphere of contemporary education on the basis of the historical experience is revealed; the possibilities of preparation of future social pedagogues to fundraising work on the basis of historical experience are defined. results: it can be used for development courses of Social Pedagogiesy, history of Social Pedagogiesy, trusteeship council in educational institutions, development of methodical recommendations of fundraising in education; field – Social Pedagogies.
