Stefanyk V. Substantiation of etiology, pathogenesis of obstetric pathology, pathogenetic and nonspecific therapy in the system of prophylaxis of cattle sterility in the separate geochemical areas of western region of Ukraine

The object of research: the state of metabolism in cows in calf in the last third part and postpartum period and its changes under the influence of iodine-lipid medication and artificial Carlsbad salt (SHKS) enriched with cobalt chloride, zinc sulfate, clinical status of cows, cow reproduction. The aim of research: explore the theoretical basis and physiological processes that occur in the body of cows having a deep position of foetus during their postpartum involution; improve in clinical and experimental way the discovered pathology and elaborate etiological and pathogenetic principles of prevention and treatment of pregnant animals, to preserve their health and ensure high performance cows develop effective ways of correcting the reproductive function in cows after giving birth, taking into account the peculiarities of different biogeochemical zones of Western Ukraine. Research methods: clinical, hematologic, hormonal, biochemical, immunological, nonspecific resistance indices, histological activity, microbiology, statistics. Scientific novelty of the results: for the first time, as a result of the planned research for improving the scientific data on the main etiological factors of infertility and pregnant cows in the biogeochemical provinces of Western Ukraine and set percentage each of them play part in the overall pathology of cows. For the first time using scanning electron microscopy is given morphological characteristic changes of the endometrium of cows during reproductive cycle and the onset of infertility, proved on the restructuring of the surface epithelial lining of the uterus and cow's relationship with various elements of the epithelial cells of the endometrium depending on the phases of sexual cycle. Degree of implementation: in particular conditions of biogeochemical regions of Western Ukraine was established the connection of reproductive ability of cows and environmental conditions, measures designed correction micromineral exchange using artificial Carlsbad salt, iodine-lipid drug tetravitu, zinc sulphate and cobalt chloride. Methods of prevention of infertility are also elaborated, so it became real to have litter from each cow for 365 days, fully complete the reproductive cycle: accouchement - lactation - pregnancy - dry period - accouchement.
