Essay

For the first time, a new method of maintenance and repair processes mathematical modeling is proposed for a finite and infinite planning interval. This method allows the determining of basic effectiveness measures for both finite and infinite planning intervals. The generalized performance measures are proposed in the form of total life time expected costs for different variants of maintenance management. For the first time a criterion was worked out for the structural optimization of ground automatic test equipment. A new method was proposed for optimizing the multilevel system of controlling the avionics spare parts.
