Object: educational-pedagogic discourse (EPD) as a semiotic process of creation and interpretation of the study texts in a holistic, closed communicative situation in the sphere of the organized Russian language learning in a secondary school. The aim – complex analysis of the categorical structure of EPD; constructing the typology of the speech genres and their description (the school subject “Russian language” as an example). Methods: general methods: method of the scientific description, which includes surveying, generalization, interpretation, classification and systematization; partial methods of discoursology and text linguistics: contextual interpretational method, lingua-semiotic analysis of the discourse, conversional analysis. Novelty: the new (interdisciplinary) facet of the object study – the process of text-creation in the sphere of the organized Russian language learning at school – lies in the multipurpose analysis of the discourse categories of EPD, systematization of the speech genres of the educational-pedagogic discourse. For the first time EDP gets its multifaceted linguistic description as a socio-communicative phenomenon of the educational sphere of communication. Practical value: the results of the dissertation can be taken into consideration while creating new text-books on the Russian language, working out practical methods in the post-diploma institutions, in lectures on the theory of speech communication, text linguistics, pedagogical linguistics at higher educational establishments.
