Ogar O. Development of the theory of operation and methods of calculation the constructive-technological parameters of sorting humps

The object of research is the railcars's classification process in the Ukrainian railways. The aim of the research is to develop the theory of operation and the calculation methods of the parameters of sorting hump for the growth of the synergetic effect. The study was carried out using methods of systems theory, probability theory, mathematical statistics, neural networks theory, reliability theory, differential calculus and nonlinear stochastic programming. The possibility of simultaneous determination of rational parameters and operation strategy of sorting devices for the period of the life cycle has been theoretically justified. The complex of models for determining of the rational design and technological parameters and operating strategies of sorting humps has been formed. The method of calculation of velocity and direction of wind at the point of car location based on data from meteorological sensors installed outdoor has been developed. The results can be used for newly built sorting humps, their construction or reconstruction and carrying out the comprehensive programs for improving the safety and efficiency of sorting process.
