For the first time the results of scientific problem solution – support of effective activity of pharmaceutical personnel by means of working out of methodology, scientific approaches and recommendations for personnel management based on competencies have been theoretically grounded and presented. The concepts of pharmaceutical competence, competencies model, andragogical approaches of professional training have been introduced into scientific turn. The methodology of competencies determination in certain pharmaceutical establishment has been elaborated. The classification of pharmacy specialist competencies has been suggested. The competencies models of pharmacist and pharmacy manager have been elaborated, its validation has been carried out. The guideline for pharmaceutical organizations personnel management bases on competencies, in particular, for staff recruitment and employment, business evaluation, professional training has been offered.
