Essay

Theoretic-pedagogical bases of education of intellectual culture for students by means of culturological disciplines are considered in the dissertation. The analysis of the term "person's intellectual culture" as a constituent of the integral phenomenon of culture is made, its essence and structural components are exposed; criteria, indexes and levels of its formation for students of higher educational establishments are defined. Technology of education of intellectual culture in the integrated cultural-educational environment of high school with the elements of sociocultural and moral rehabilitation, that helps to form the specialists of a new type, including physically handicapped students, which are apt for self-realization and functioning in new socio-economic conditions, that combine the high level of morality, culture, education, intellectuallity and professional competence, is worked out.
