Essay

The object of research is technological processes of restoration and repair of vehicles' parts. The research work completed in the dissertation is based on the methods of mathematical statistics and statistical analysis, probability theory in the study of indicators of transport efficiency, reliability theory, the method of object-oriented programming, expert assessments, computer modeling, mathematical processing of experimental data, methods and means of experimental investigation of performance properties refurbished parts, methods of systems analysis in the formalization process of restoring worn parts as an integrated system in the vehicles repair. The model of technological process of estimation of parts' and units' endurance refers to conditions of their operational use and recovery methods had been developed. The most effective technological solutions for lifespan recovery of used parts and components which regard the size and type of wearing had been specified. Based on theoretical and experimental studies the ways to improve the durability refer to the types of materials, operational and repair conditions, had been determined. The economical efficiency of proposed approaches had been proven by operational test results, and installation experience. The results of the work introduced in the restored parts of vehicles purpose in the manufacture and restoration of special purpose equipment, and parts of vehicles; new decision of the optimization process parts', units' and vehicle aggregates' repairing in the railway manufacturing.
