Essay

There has been analyzed the influence of the information factors on educational theory and practice due to society informatization - growth of information flows, high rates of information upgrade, progressing in information engineering and technology, transformation of the scientific communication system in the global computer-information network. There has been developing an information approach in the teaching theory, based on the semantic (thesaurus) model of information interaction. The applicability of this model is grounded in the target description and process of teaching. The nonlinear nature of pedagogical estimation of information technologies opens up, the development of which excludes a man in educational process. The features of information supply in educational process are being analyzed. There has been grounded the introduction of conceptual notion instrument of informatics in the sphere of education: notions of information needs, environment, resources, analytical-synthetic treatment and others. The paper reveals the place and role of information activity in the structure of education, specifying the notion of information culture as target and instrument of teaching. Thus, the important elements of information paradigm of education are formed.
