Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to the research of theoretical and methodical aspects of the problem of expert researches of the pedagogical systems, solving of which provides development of general secondary education. Essence of basic concepts of examination in education is analyzed, its genesis from appearance of the pedagogical testing to formation of examination as public and state institute of management of education is reproduced. Features and characteristics of pedagogical examination are exposed; its consideration as evaluation and research activity is carried out. Functions, principles, forms and methods of pedagogical examination are defined and grounded on the basis of the theoretical and methodological positions. Scientific interpretation of features of development of general secondary education of the region is made on principles of conception of steady development. The role and the value of pedagogical examination is exposed in this process.
