Object: Nature Studying of Local Lore in the system of native school education; aim: to bring out peculiarities of stages and the leading tendencies of development of Nature Studying of Local Lore in the system of native school education 20 – 80s of the XX century, to elucidate the opportunities of using the experience of Nature Studying of Local Lore for the contemporary situation, to determine the promising directions of its development; methods: historiography analysis, chronological, comparative methods, method of a division into periods, method of prognosis and modeling; novelty: development of Nature Studying of Local Lore in the system of native school education 20 – 80s of the XX century has been considered for the first time, the historic prerequisites have been elucidated, it has been suggested well founded division into periods of development of school Nature Studying of Local Lore, the leading tendencies of this process in researching period were brought out; results: the material of a work have been fixed in basis of an educational course „Development of Nature Studying of Local Lore in the system of native school education 20 – 80 of the XX”; branch – general pedagogy and history of pedagogy
