Essay

In the thesis the theoretical and methodical bases of the formation of value attitude to health in students of vocational educational establishments (VEE) are defined and substantiated. The essence and contents of the notion "health-oriented activities" are defined as a number of planned educational actions and measures aimed at the maintaining, strengthening, and formation of students' health via creation of a formation of value attitude to students' own health and the health of others. The conception of formation of value attitude to health in students of vocational educational establishments is substantiated; the pedagogical system of formation of value attitude to health in students of VEE is elaborated that secure the goal-directed management of this process in order to raise the levels of formation of value attitude to health in students. The structural model of the pedagogical system is developed; the criteria, indices and levels of value attitude to health (high, average, basic, and low that are defined on the basis of integral evaluation) in students of VEE are characterized. The pedagogical conditions of formation of value attitude to health and the methodical aspects of formation of value attitude to health in students of VEE are determined. The efficiency of the introduced pedagogical system of formation of value attitude to health in students of vocational educational establishments is experimentally tested.
