Essay

The scientific rationale of the passive safety restoration possibility during car body repairing is given in the thesis. The use of finite element modeling based on the phenomenological model of material response under repairing conditions allowed to examine the impact of car parts remanufacturing on passive safety properties. Methodological approaches to repairing technique design are created, which allow to preserve car passive safety properties, new framework, models and methods of passive safety restoration were developed for car bodies made of two-phase heat-treated steels and boron steels in the course of repairing.
