Semenovs'ka L. Theory and Practice of Polytechnic Education Idea Realization in School Education of Ukraine (XX century).

Object - school education in Ukraine of XX century; the aim - to theoretically substantiate and prove the process of polytechnic idea realization in school education of Ukraine of XX century ; methods - historical-pedagogical, historical-genetic, stage-based and problem-oriented, comparative, chronological and content-based, paradigmatic, biographical, content-analytical, term-analytical, modeling and prognostic, of theoretical generalization; novelty - the research is the first to define the level of the research of the given problem and differentiate among 8 main directions in its investigation; social and economic factors of polytechnic idea realization and organizational and pedagogical preconditions of this process have been determined; the process of polytechnic idea realization in the native school education in XX century has been theoretically and practically substantiated; the laws of this process have been analysed; the controversies of the process have been revealed; the main tendencies in the process of polytechnic idea theory and practice realization have been characterized; the specific features of the process have been considered; progressive achievements of the polytechnic idea realization during XX century have been determined; results - the author has proven the importance of creative implementation of achievements of polytechnic idea realization in XX century in present-day school teaching. The results of the scientific research have been used in teaching the curriculum discipline "Professional pedagogics" and they are the part of the methodological support complex of materials designed by the author; the special teaching course " Implementation of Idea of Polytechnic Education as a Part of School Education Modernization in Ukraine" has been designed by the author and implemented in the process of teaching, its methodological support materials have been worked out; the data of the research have allowed for enriching the content of the subjects "pedagogics", "History of Pedagogics", "Methodology of Educational and Social-Pedagogical Activity" ; field - pedagogy.
