Essay

The object of study - the processes of change in the properties of motor and transmission oils of transport vehicles power trains. The aim of the study is to develop the concept of evaluating the properties of motor and gear oils according to energy parameters, allowing more efficient use of transport vehicles due to the rational use of the engine and gear oils resource. The methodological basis of the thesis is the systems approach application, problem analysis from a technical, mathematical and informational point of view, methods of probability theory, mathematical statistics, full-scale, bench, laboratory and field tests using approved methods specified in the relevant Standard State Specifications and DSTU. A systematic approach for evaluation of engine and gear oils properties, as well as the operational management of the transport vehicles power trains resource at operation under specified conditions is offered. The scientific novelty of the results obtained consists in the fact that for the first time there has been developed: the concept of motor and transmission oils properties assessment used in power units according to energy parameters and the arrival rate of wear products obtained after transport vehicles running for rational resource management at its operation; there have been obtained patterns of change in the rate of ware products arrival into the engine and gear oil from the fuel consumed; there have also been obtained patterns of change in dielectric constant of motor and gear oils, depending on the amount of fuel consumed. The results of the basic research in the form of methodological and practical recommendations are applied in the industrial activity of the following enterprises: "Ukrtraktor" (VAT "KHTZ" VAT "KHZTSSH"), "KHSATP-2002","KHATP-16330"," Khersonskom ATP-16527 ", Ltd. "VINES", Ltd. "LONIDA", Ltd. "Mir Masel", in the test laboratory "Universalneftehim" Ltd. "VTII", in the educational process of bachelors and masters training on specialty "Road Transport". Field of application: road transport.
