Object: ecological and humanistic values in the structure of school chemical education; aim: to identify and substantiate theoretic and methodological foundations of the pedagogical system of the formation of the ecological and humanistic values in the process of school chemical education, to define the perspective directions of its realization; methods: conceptual and comparative, structural and systemic analysis, modeling, generalizing progressive ideas and identifying the disadvantages of modern chemical education, praximetric method; novelty: theoretic and methodological foundations of the pedagogical system of the formation of the ecological and humanistic values in the process of school chemical education have been substantiated, the essence of the notion of „ecological and humanistic values” has been substantially developed in the structure of school chemical education, the essence of the notion and its axiological components have been defined; results: the theoretic and methodical complexes providing systemic formation of the ecological and humanistic values in the process of school chemical education have been elaborated, the directions of its realization in the practical work of secondary school have been defined; branch: general pedagogy and history of pedagogics
