Essay

The paper is devoted to the pharmacological study of new combination drugs with active components of natural origin and their rationale for use in different phases of wound healing process (WHP). It has been found that Prolidoksyd ointment by antimicrobial and local anesthetic action exceeded the effect of Levosin ointment, and by anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effect exceeded the effect of Wundahyl ointment. Bioflorіn ointment by anti-inflammatory and reparative action had an advantage over Algofin ointment and reveled a pronounced antimicrobial action under conditions in vitro. The study of Zhivitan gel revealed advantages of its effectiveness to comparator drugs - Dr. Theiss Comfrey gel, Dr. Theiss Comfrey ointment and Dr. Theiss Venen gel by the reparative, antimicrobial, venotonic and vein protective action. The spectrum of pharmacological action and the relevant ointment bases justify the application of Prolidoksyd ointment for the treatment of septic wounds and superficial skin burns in the Ist phase of the WHP and in the transition to the IInd phase, Bioflorіn ointment - pharmacotherapy in the IInd and IIIrd phases of the WHP, Zhivitan gel - in the IInd and IIIrd phases of the WHP and venous trophic ulcers on the background of the WHP. Studied drugs in cutaneous application are relatively harmless, do not show local irritant and sensitizing action
