Essay

The object of the research is the process of socialization of orphans in the People's Republic of China; the goal is to reveal the theoretical framework and summarize the experience of socialization of orphans in the People's Republic of China, to define the main trends in the development of these issues and identify possibilities to use the Chinese experience in modern Ukrainian pedagogical practice. The methods are the following: analysis, comparison, generalization, synthesis, general scientific method, historical and structural method, historical and diachronic method, historical and comparative method, empirical method. The novelty is in the fact that the views of Chinese scientists and representatives of the ethical and philosophical schools have been summarized and characterized for the first time, the stages of formation and development trends in the problems of socialization of orphans in Chinese pedagogy of the period reviewed have been justified, the possibility and advisability of the use of certain achievements of the Chinese system of organization of social and educational work with orphans have been proved. As a result, the theory and practice of socialization of orphans in China have been studied holistically. The main results and conclusions of the study were used to build a program of social and human development in Belokurakinskiy district Lugansk region and Kotelevskiy district Poltava region. The materials of the research can be used to study the development issues of historical and pedagogical thought in China, issues of social and educational views of Chinese scholars; the branch is pedagogy.
