Object - education and educational activities in the spiritual centers of Ukraine; the aim - to prove scientifically theoretical ideas, summarize experience education and training activities Lavra - the largest Orthodox spiritual center in the Ukrainian lands XVIII - XX centuries, to identify major trends, the appropriateness of their creative and critical development and use in modern conditions; methods - cognitive retrospectively, search and bibliographical, documentary and archival, theoretical analysis and synthesis paradigm, system-genetic, chronological, logical and pedagogical, hermeneutic, content analysis, structural-functional, personalistic retrieval, observational methods praksymetrychnyy, ekstrapolyarnyy, interpretation, forecasting; novelty: analysis of level of development problems and the main directions of scientific research education and training activities as Laurel cells and the formation of revival of spirituality, morality and patriotism, "all the world" civic consciousness, sacrifice, love of neighbor and Ukraine; found organizational and pedagogical conditions of formation of education and educational activities Laurel; factors and driving forces of this process; systematized and grounded theoretical ideas of education and educational activities; The experience of spiritual practices education and upbringing of Laurel, clarified their principles, the content, methods disclosed and forms of spiritual practices; conducted a retrospective analysis of the education and upbringing of Laurel, its main stages; sharakterezovano creative figures of theologians, priests, teachers, novices, found their contribution to education and educational activities of Laurel; found leading education and educational trends, proven development capabilities and creative use of historical-critical spiritual gains. The obtained during scientific research provisions implemented in the course of lectures and seminars with mandatory and elective disciplines: "Pedagogy. Integrated Course Theory and History Education", "Methods of educational and socio-educational activities teachers", "Pedagogics of High School", "People in the history of Ukrainian Education "that allowed to systematize experience and develop innovative architectural course "Fundamentals of Christian Education"- (taught 13), filled with new content series of social and humanitarian disciplines, to discover the essence of historical processes and pedagogical phenomena study period. Materials research recommendations can be used in educational institutions in the education of all levels of accreditation; field - pedagogy.
