Essay

The specific features of primary school teachers' training to pupils' moral-and-ethical upbringing at universities in Japan are investigated in the thesis. On the basis of studying of scientific sources, Ukrainian and Japanese documents and materials, as well as documents of international organizations major trends of modernization of the education system in Japan in the early 21st century are revealed; the importance of national traditions in pupils' moral-and-ethical upbringing is highlighted; specific features of interaction between family and school and aesthetization of learning environment are revealed; conceptual bases of modernization of primary school teachers' training in Ukraine based on progressive ideas of the Japanese experience are highlighted; common trends of education development in the studied countries are singled out.
