Essay

In the thesis the scientific problem of the insufficiency of anabolic steroid drugs range has been theoretically and experimentally solved. The results substantiate pathogenetically the expediency of implementation of the new non-steroidal anabolic drug "Medykabol" based on the extract of Medicago Sativa sowing grass to the medical practice. It has been established that the extract of Medicago Sativa sowing grass at a dose of 25 mg/kg has anabolic, membrane stabilizing, antioxidant and cytoprotective effect and restores the state of protein metabolism 1,1-3,75 times better than the comparison drug Potassium orotate. Showing the ability to stimulate the protein synthesis by the content of flavonoids, tannins, etc and to increase the level of endogenous protein through the donation of protein molecules and amino acids, the extract of Medicago Sativa sowing grass is able to correct the violation of the protein metabolism caused by various pathogenic agents (carbon tetrachloride, ethanol, doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, hydrocortisone, L-thyroxin, food deprivation) better than the comparison drugs. It has been confirmed that the tablets "Medykabol" based on the extract of Medicago Sativa sowing grass show the properties of the protein metabolism corrector with the anabolic action in terms of the model pathologies. This enables us to recommend the tablets "Medykabol" for prevention/treatment of acute and chronic diseases associated with the protein deficiency.
